Josh Lee Hamilton is an indie folk/ singer songwriter from the
Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia.  Josh's music is currently based in
the small and vibrant surf town of Byron Bay. His years of growing up
on the Northern rivers, and travel abroad, have been the backdrop of
inspiration for Josh's uniquley smooth and captivating sound. Josh has
performed at festivals such as Splendour In The Grass, played
alongside accomplished artists such as Caravana Sun and
Garrett Kato, and regularly plays the local venues of Byron Bay and

Josh is currently on the back of touring Australia for his latest EP
release  "Find Your Way", which includes the singles "Soul Breaks",
“Golden” and "No Fun" which have all scored airplay and esteeming
reviews from Triple J radio. His seemingly most popular song,
“Golden”, was also recently added to the highly viewed YouTube
channel, “Mostly Strings”, where it has had 30k views within the last

Josh's music has also received accolades from his local music
community, where he was just announced "Song Writer Of The Year" at
the NCEIA Dolphin Awards, and where he also won the "Best
Alternative/Indie Song" with his single "No Fun". His succeses at the
Dolphin Awards earned him studio time at Pete Murray's Iron Kick's
Studio, where he worked with studio engineer Paul Pilsneniks ( who has
worked with likes of Angus and Julia Stone, The Whitlams and
Silverchair ). This studio opportunity was used to capture the live
magic of Josh's performance, and will be released as a series of live
acoustic  video sessions, called “December Sessions”.

Josh is known for his smooth and easy listening sound that is also
very catchy and captivating. His unique stylistic melodies tell
stories of love, struggles, relationships, hope and faith and are
often an expression of both his personal life and observations of the
world around him. Josh's songwriting is known to weave a clever
lyrical thread and sound that expresses  the big and small, the
shallow and deep, head and heart, soul and spirit, you and me.

2017 was an exciting and rewarding year for Josh, and is to be
followed by a highly anticipated 2018, with new material and time on
the road. Josh is currently writing and recording new material
expected to be released in the spring of 2018 and to be followed by
his most extensive tour of Australia yet. In the meantime be sure to
